The Consulate General’s processing time in visa cases is currently up to 55 days (subject to change). Business applications are prioritized.
We are working hard to bring down the processing time for all applications, as we are aware of the inconvenience this may cause.
In order not to risk a refusal or denied entry into Schengen, we advise you to carefully consider if Denmark or Iceland is your main destination and/or main purpose.
The Consulate General has observed a growing number of falsified travel
medical insurance certificates submitted as supporting documents of the visa
application. Please note that the individual visa applicant is responsible for
the documents submitted. The use of false, counterfeit or forged documents in
the visa application process will lead to a refusal of the visa application
under Article 32(1)(b) of the Schengen Visa Code.
Please make sure you secure a time slot at VFS Global to submit your application as soon as possible. Please check for available slots here.
Please find information about the visa application procedure here.
Please note that inquiries about the status of your case will not be replied to.
To make time for case processing of applications, for the time being we have closed our telephone hours.
The Danish Mission recommends that you do not buy a plane ticket before your visa has been approved.
